Mode of Recruitment:

Class-II Officer Posts

  1. Notification will be published in widely circulated daily news papers.
  2. On line Applications will be invited through KSRTC website.
  3. For conducting CAT exam, Reputed Agencies will be identified like IIMB, IISc.
  4. CAT Exam will be conducted in main cities of Karnataka.
  5. Merit lists will be prepared, based as per the C&R Regulations. (75% of Qualification %age +25% of marks scored in CAT exam for general Degree holders and 50 % of Qualification %age +50 % of marks scored in CAT exam for specific Degree holders)
  6. Eligible Candidates will be called for verification of Original documents and physical standards for ATM/SVO posts in the ratio of 1:2.No oral interview marks.

Class-II Officers (In-Service Recruitment)

  1. 20 % quota will be carved out of the direct recruitment quota. Notification will be published and circulated to all the corporations / Divisions.
  2. On line Applications will be invited through KSRTC website.
  3. CAT Exam will be conducted in all main cities of Karnataka.
  4. For conducting CAT exam, Reputed Agencies will be identified like IIMB, IISc.
  5. Merit lists will be prepared, as per the C&R Regulations. (25% of Qualification %age +50% of marks scored in CAT exam + marks scored in interview out of 25 marks)
  6. Eligible Candidates will be called for verification of Original documents and for oral interview in the ratio of 1:4.

Class-III Supervisory Posts

  1. Notification will be published in widely circulated daily news papers.
  2. On line Applications will be invited through KSRTC website.
  3. For conducting CAT exam, reputed Agencies to be identified like IIMB, IISc.
  4. CAT Exam will be conducted in main cities of Karnataka.
  5. Merit lists will be prepared as per the C&R Regulations. (75% of Qualification %age +25% of marks scored in CAT exam for general Degree holders and 50 % of Qualification %age +50 % of marks scored in CAT exam for specific Degree holders)
  6. Eligible Candidates will be called for verification of Original documents and physical standards for the TI & DSI posts in the ratio of 1:5.

Class-III Non Supervisory Posts

  1. Notification will be published in widely circulated daily news papers.
  2. On line Applications will be invited through KSRTC website.
  3. Merit lists will be prepared based on the marks secured by the candidates in the prescribed education qualification for the post (excluding Mechanical and traffic posts) as per the C&R Regulations.
  4. Eligible Candidates will be called for verification of Original documents and physical standards in the ratio of 1:5.

Mode of selection for Driver and Driver-Cum-Conductor

  1. All candidates will be called for verification of Original documents and physical standards.  Only eligible candidate are allowed for Driving Trade Test. Based on the marks scored in the trade test Final Merit lists will be prepared for the post of Driver.
  2. In respect of Driver-Cum-Conductor, 50% of the marks scored by the candidate in SSLC will be added to the marks scored in Driving Trade Test Final Merit lists will be prepared.

Mode of selection for Asst Traffic Inspector, Artisan, Asst. Artisan &   Helper-B posts

  1. Final Merit lists will be prepared based on the marks scored by the candidates in the prescribed education qualification for the post and marks scored in the interview out of 15.

Mode of selection for Security Guard

  1. Candidates will be called for verification of Original documents and physical standards. Only those candidates fulfill the prescribed physical standards will be sent for physical efficiency test. Candidates who physically qualified are selected Based on the marks scored in the prescribed qualification.
